SMBC Theater originated in 2009 by Zach Weinersmith and James Ashby as a sister-project for Zach’s popular webcomic “Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal“. The second season of SMBC Theater was filmed and uploaded to YouTube from September 2012-April 2013 and consisted of 16 unique sketches spanning topics of relationships, aging, office issues and pop culture.
