‘LIFE: An Immersive Installation’ was the first experiential video installation by Jon Brence which was both a retrospection on self and an observation of the concept of an entire life flashing before eyes. It is an homage to his late father. He utilized both home videos and new recordings for the video components.

The environment was a single room with a desk and chair in the center. The attendee was encouraged to sit in the chair where videos (in color) were projected on each wall. Two broken televisions on the ground played the black and white footage.
